bonnie lass
I stopped by my part-time job at the cooking school this evening just to check on things & one of our loveliest retail sales lassies was on duty. I asked if I could have my picture with her & she graciously obliged. My very kilt friendly wife took the shot.
BTW she is a “daughter of The Bruce”

She's very pretty but what is a "Daughter of The Bruce"?

That would be Robert the Bruce a king of the Scots. She appreciates her heritage.

I thought maybe it was saying she could trace her lineage as a direct descendant of The Bruce or it was an organization like "Daughters of the American Revolution" or "Knights of Columbus" or something like that. I've never heard the phrase used to refer to a person of Scottish descent, that's a very poetic way of putting it.

Hey she's kind of cute. You should invite her to a kilt night (especially if I'm going to be there) ;-)

So, let me get this straight. Once again, it's all about you?
You get your picture taken with a good looking young woman, in a nice setting, and sharp thingies in the background and we're supposed to notice your kilt?
You lead us down the garden path, all romantic about this possible Queen of the Scots, my Queen, to show off your kilt?
nice kilt, by the way.
(For those who don't know Scottish titles, the Bruce, Bruce of that ilk, himself (in a Bruce setting) all refer to the same person, the head of the clan, in this case, Bruce.)
