Williamsburg Scottish festival
The Williamsburg Scottish festival will be held on Sept 29 this year. The featured group this year is "Albannach". Those who have seen them before already know that they are a "must see" . This year is a big event for Williamsburg, because it is the 30th anniversary of the festival as well as the 400th anniversary of the Jamestown settlement. Here is the link for information.

My wife and I will be there, and I hope that others from the forum can make it too.

My family and I are planning to go - not sure when or for how long, but we'll definitely be there. In fact I am really looking forward to it.

Yep, I'm heading south for it. I have booked a room for 3 nights. Look for me, with a dandelion in my bonnet!

Williamsburg Scottish Festival
I'm looking forward to the upcoming Scottish Festival in Williamsburg next weekend. I've sent private messages to the JerMc, djweso, and CelticRanger66 with my cell # to connect. Anyone else on the forum planning to attend?
Look for me at the Donnachaidh, Gordon, and Beer tents under the blue bonnet with the danderlions!

I'll definitely look for you. Weather permitting, I'll be wearing my Xmarks tee shirt with one of my Macneil kilts, probably my Matt Newsome heavyweight. My wife and I are driving down from Amelia County Saturday morning and staying overnight. We always stay overnight so we can go to my wife's favorite Barbcue place, aka RED HOT and BLUE

Albannach was in Estes this year and YES, take every opportunity you can to go listen to them. Even the shows during the days were great and the concert we heard 2 weeks ago was supurb.

My wife and I are still planning on coming. Probably only Saturday and I'm not sure if we'll make the games during the day or only the Music at night. I will let you guys know as we get closer. I will probably wear my Xmarks shirt as well.

Whar a Day!
The weather couldn’t have been better for the Williamsburg Scottish Festival. It was easy finding Jerry (JerMac) as I spotted his X Marks the Scot.com T Shirt.
My Dad and sister with a friend of hers came to see me there. It was the first Scottish Festival they have attended. It was a great day!
