I don't own a utilikilt, and probably won't ever... and I think there are a lot more like me. On the other hand, I do own traditionally-styled kilts in non-traditional materials. (Of course, once Hamner buys his daughter a kilted skirt in a matching tartan to his kilt, then that'll have been passed between generations, and thus, traditional, right? )

I think the kilt is still evolving. And the only way to know what the future will hold for the kilt is to travel there... which I'm currently doing, at a rate of one second per second. I'll let you know how it looks when I get there.
