Kathy Lare?
Does anyone know how to contact Kathy Lare? I had a link to her website, but it no longer functions.
If she isn't making kilts any more, can anyone help me find a kiltmaker who might be willing to make a kilt for my very Big Hairy Scot with tartan I already have?
Thanks!!
Bryn

Huh, look at that... Kathy's website registration does seem to have expired.
Ron (Riverkilt) will know how to contact her, I presume, and if she's stopped making kilts (which I find very unlikely) both Steve at Freedom Kilts and Matt at the Scottish Tartans Museum will make kilts from customer-supplied material, I believe.

Long time lurker, first time poster, soon to be first time kilted
She's still making kilts, at least she's still working on mine and didn't sound like she was retireing when I went down for a fitting last week! The kilt is finished actually, but she needed to get in the proper jacket for my shoulders to go with the whole outfit so that will take more time, which I planned for.
hopefully she'll have her site back up soon!
She's great and her work is superb!!!

email is kathyskilts@earthlink.net
Know she had a website guy "improving her website" maybe something to do with that.
Calling is best. She's usually sewing and only checks email from time to time.

Thanks, y'all... I spoke w/ Kathy prior to our twin storm sisters of doom (i.e. Katrina & Rita), and after the storms, while we luckily didn't lose anything, the upheaval down here made it necessary to put aside a lot of plans and wait until our lives settled down. I was hoping not to have to start the process all over again.
I'm glad to know I can FINALLY get the hubby's kilt made.

As expected, the website glitch was caused by a site holder screw up. Apparently its fixed now. Kathy is geared up for the Stone Mountain games and looking forward to seeing the Dixie Rabble at the TECA - STA tent. She's not there as a vendor but do stop by and say hello.
