    Haven't had a chance to open and read the STA newsletter yet, but will. Reading the post does make me feel like I got my membership fee worth of satisfaction for sure.

    Got me to wondering how many STA members are from "the colonies."

    And while I have more "polyesther" kilts than wool kilts, I have spent much more money purchasing the wool ones than the PV ones.

    Ron, I'm sure Cyndi is aware of the PV kilts. I think she was making a point that US kilt-wearers don't only wear PV kilts. From the letter, I gather that all kilt-wearers in the "diaspora" were portrayed as ignorant as to the nature of both tartan and kilts and are taken in by "cheap immitations."

    I probably should have clarified that I wasn't speaking to Cyndi's letter, rather her letter got me ruminating about my own condition and I had that realization.
