Man, I look happy in that picture, eh?
I hate that I missed the brewery tour, it sure looks like you guys had fun down there. And, Nelson, those I are big *** fans...no seriously, they are from the Big *** Fan company. ( http://www.bigassfans.com/ ) We have them in a couple of our warehouses too, and yeah - you can't really appreciate the scale of them till you see them in person.
All in all, it was a great day. It's always good to spend time with Bill and the youngest member of Clan Tartan Hiker, it was great to meet MacMoose and his ladies fair, and of course always great to see Nelson. Thanks for putting it together, Bill, and thanks everybody else for participating. I look forward to seeing all you guys again next month at Foothills. (And Darren, don't let me forget that I owe you a fiver since that guy wouldn't take my real money and wanted that funny looking green paper. )

Consider that a downpayment on the next round of foamy ales, eh?
It was indeed a great day! Big thanks to Tartan Hiker and Sir Patrick for their tireless efforts to show us a good time. Very good to meet all of you! The ladies had a great day, albeit somewhat painful (self-inflicted, of course!).
A long sleep-in was had on Sunday.
BTW, you saw how Casey drives at the Brewery lot? She got nailed by NC's finest a mere exit away from home for speeding. Imagine the trooper's reaction when he came to the passenger side window and saw nothing but legs, tartan and a big, fuzzy beaver staring up at him!

Oooh. Too bad, that. I guess he had a story to tell back at the station, however.
By the way, I realized later that I had not properly said farewell to the ladies as we parted at Jack's...please convey my apologies and extend my thanks for coming along on the big day.

That's what happens when you live life on the razor's edge!
While I may not get Casey on another hike real soon, I know they both had a great time. I will just have to get Casey out more often, on easier trails, and get her some proper clothing!
Any time you are looking for a hiking partner, please give me a shout! I really wanted to finish the hike, it was a great trail.
