I heard on the radio this morning that the "experts" say we only have a 90 day supply of water left in Lake Lanier. These lakes supply Metro Atlanta, parts of Alabama and Florida. I don't know what the Corps of Engineers contingency plan involves, I suppose they have one.

We need rain and plenty of it here.

Not good. NC is also suffering from major drought conditions and the prediction for a dryer than normal winter does not bode well.

I propose that to assist with this pressing water shortage, we all stop drinking water and switch to single malt scotch........

Oh and always shower with a friend!

I'm trying to do my part, at least with the Scotch

Me to! In fact I try to do my part every day, like right now. Do you know how much more fun X-Marks is with a glass of single malt sitting in front of you, that you can glance at for inspiration and everyonce in a while put in your hand for use elsewhere?

That's what our area (North Central Texas) looked like last year . . . this year we got so much rain that all the lakes are full and some are ten or twelve feet over . . .

We would have been happy to send you rain in June if we had been able!
