...and since there is not so much fabric involved anyway, the overlapping at the waist is hardly noticeable. The original instructions do not include adding a lining, but that is covered in an addendum at the end of the document. I recommend it if there is broad overlap as this makes the inside of the waist area feel a bit less "bumpy".
