    Since you are of Stewart heritage, take a look at the Old Stewart tartan produced in authentic eighteenth century colors available here:

    It's 13 oz wool, and comes 54" wide. Perfect for a great kilt and accurate coloration to boot!

    That is an awesome tartan!
    (I'm not fond of bright tartans... in fact I generally wear dark, muted colors)
