I have bought two mini-kilts for my wife from Burnetts & Struth and she (and I) have been very happy with them. They weren't cheap, but they were made-to-measure and I think were very good value. Also, they can get any tartan you want.

Welcome from Burlington with connections in Sudbury. With cooler weather coming you might be better of with wool, then Sport Kilts are quite light when it's 40 below . As for the mini try pming MacHummel here. He's a kiltmaker in Fergus, his company Canadian Casual Kilts. Mind you if you want her in leather try RKilts in Stratford, he's Canuck here on the forum.
