As far as modern kilts go (which many of you know that I'm not a fan), this one looks pretty rugged. But what separates it from UtiliKilt or Amerikilt? Seems like either one of the ladder, who specialize in workhorse kilts, would be the preferable choice.

before I purchased one..I'd have to see it ironed, and then done up with the right accessories....I'm thinking steel toe work boots, work socks pushed down...and some tools

It would look better if it was not flared. I thought it might be just how it looked on the hanger - but it looks like it is even more flared when worn.
It really does make it look skirt - ish
