    Goodbye, Friend!

    The obituary of our Chief of the Scottish Society came out today. Don Mcleay had died earlier in the week from pancreatic cancer. Don was quite a guy; Eagle Scout, Marine, VMI graduate, U.S. Congress candidate, and most recently juvenile parole officer. He pretty much ‘was’ the Fredericksburg Scottish Society. He will be sorely missed.

    May he Rest in Peace; a very unpleasant thing; my roommate died of it in '02. A great relief for his family to see him at peace i'm sure. Always a sad thing nonetheless. Will light a candle for him.
