I just received my yardage for my belted plaid, from Frugal Corner.
I had a very good shopping experience with them... they answered my queries promptly, and my order arrived (almost) magically quickly.
I think the key, with dealing with Frugal Corner, is to call or email ahead.

I totally agree w/ acstoon. After numerous questions and very quick responses from their customer service rep, I then placed my order, a few hours later Mark sent me an email confirming sizes. I then sent him another email asking about ship date and length of ship. Order placed on Monday, shipped on Tuesday, delivered on Thursday. EXCELLENT! All this even with a custom invoice / package deal.

I'll admit that I'm curious about FCs 16oz kilts, given the positive feedback from the folks who have received 'em. I'm keeping an eye on their site, to see when / if they get my size in a tartan I'm interested in.
I'll also admit that I'm slower to actually order from them than some other places....

Like I said, I intend to order (probably) two kilts from FC; a 13 oz in MacPherson Modern, and a 16 oz in MacPherson Dress. However, I doubt it will be until after the holiday season.

Yes. That is, in fact, the best way to go about it. However, with their inventory posted on the website, you can check yourself.

As I complained a lot over an earlier order situation, I nevertheless thought I'd give FC another chance.
They came through with flying colors! It's only right that I PUBLICLY acknowledge the vast improvment. Great work Mark & Mark!
My "Mac Donald Dress" 13oz was ordered Monday and arrived Friday!
Wears like a dream.

I placed my first order with Frugal Corner today. I had to email them about their shipping charges. Apparently there's a glitch in their shopping cart which adds $10 per item, but they responded within 5 minutes and set the record straight and are handling the order personally to make sure I'm not over-charged for the items. They are working on the glitch too.
I ordered two sporrans and a belt and buckle. I'll let you know how they look once received.

Just got a great Black leather & Bunny sporran from them, it's terrific! I can't decide whether to wear it or cuddle up in bed with it.
Am hereby naming it; it "Frugal Fluffy"....

How long did it take to get? I'm still waiting on my order and I expected it at latest by today.

Okay, now I'm starting to get worried. I've sent an email a day for the past two days and, so far, no response. I've tried calling but always get their answering machine.
The order was placed last Thursday so if it was shipped on Friday USPS Priority like they said it would be, it should have been here by now. Normally I wouldn't freak about this, but I'm counting on these items so I can wear the kilt to the wedding this weekend.
