I'm very envious, I'm a huge fan of Loreena, she's a fantastic artist, I would love to see her live.
Did you get to speak to her at all?

Unfortunately, no. I thought about hanging around after the concert to get her to sign my CD's, but I have one with her autograph already, we had a 50+ min. drive to get to, and we wanted to get some pictures outside.

She does speak a good deal during her concerts, however: her discussions of the origins and meanings of her songs has been called "dry" and "academic," but being an academic myself, I find them insightful. She's my favorite musician, hands down.

You guys look good. I like Loreena McKennit, too...will have to keep an eye out for a concert, hereabouts.

I had dinner Saturday evening with a friend visiting from California, and told him about the Loreena concert. It turned out that he had seen her out there during her spring tour.

Thanks for the pics, Professor! You and the Cirthalioness came out great, as evidenced by all the compliments. It was a pleasure to see you both again.

I'm glad you enjoyed the concert. My wife and I are going to see the Harrisburg, PA show Wed. night.
Out of curiousity, were there many men in kilts at the show?

I counted three kilties: myself, Galician, and Charlie, the third chap in the photo. There were quite a few women in medieval cloaks, however, some with hoods and celtic-knot brooches. Let me know what sort of attire you see at the Harrisburg show.
