I contacted and ordered directly from them. The shipping was fast (even considering the notoriously slow Canada-->USA problem). I can't find ANY problems in the fabric. Make sure you discuss with him exactly what you wish to do with the fabric and make sure you're clear in that you want it with acceptable kilting selvedge.

Hunh. I'm disappointed. I ordered 3 meters months ago when it was more expensive and was offered the option of having 6 meters split already (half width.) My selvedge is chewed up terribly, there's probably 10 inches of the 6 m that is OK. You guys must have gotten the other side.

I called them directly today. They said they would need to check the bolt. They called me back and said they found 4 good metres, so it is now ordered.

I'm checking with Steve at FK to see if I can have them send it directly to him.

I talked to one of the owners and he was nice enough to go and look. He could have easily said you get what you get. I thought it was very nice of him to go out of his way for an order of less than $70.

I may end up ordering some more to use for upholstery. I think 16oz wool would hold up.
