Yes, the ceilidh was in aid of the lesbian and gay switchboard charity. The band was dreadful, but he dancing was good.

Wonderful pics. Acaig is that a tweed kilt? Trefor is his usual exceptionally dressed. McMurdo I had to check but that is not the sporran I modeled in Fergus. But yes he does make nice sporrans and matching sporran straps I see.

G&L switchboard is composed of voluntary workers who counsel callers, etc. like a "Hotline". They often assist Gays & Lesbians with housing, Legal & Medical referrals, employment, health issues , suicide prevention - you name it.
These kinds of fund raisers are often held to take care of expenses in maintaining the services.
