Samhain 2007 campout
Red_Raven_Studios and I have been camping since Thursday. Here are a few pictures.
The brook that runs along the edge of the area we camped at...

Around the fire...

Grilling some beef...

A little nasty from one of the tents (one of the women found it the hard way)...

A little sun through the trees...

More trees...

Clearing deadwood around the camp (and getting firewood, too)...

I wasn't the only one kilted, though I was the only one kilted all four days of the camp out. I did pass out the web address for here, as well as some of our fine advertisers. A fun time, and I picked up a new b-flat Native American flute.

Kilted camping is the only way to do it, except for scorpions .

I wish I could go camping. I haven't gone since the last festival on Labor Day. That was great, though- a whole lot of festival goers in the same camp ground. After the fest ended, we just kinda moved the festival from the festival ground to the camp ground and kept the fun going well into the wee hours of the next morning.

Excellent pics. Looks like a nice scenic area from the glimpse of the hill in the second bottom pic.

Actually, the scorpion is running around on the arm of one of the guys, after the girl got stung (on the backside). he just picked it up and let it run up and down his arm (did I mention that he's nuts?)
The spider pic...

It sounds like a great time, I haven't been camping in about four years. School, work and a wife that likes room service. Was that here in Az. the high country or some other locale. Looks like it might be by Sedona.
