    Don't know how many of you have kids but we get a catalog from back to basics toys was looking for Christmas gifts...ok wife was looking for gifts I shop a day or two before any way she found these. I know what Liam will be getting from Dad for Christmas.

    My kids are way beyond that age (My son's favorite toy is a V8 powered Jeep Wrangler), but I'm sure your son will enjoy those.

    That same set is a lot cheaper at www.kiltmart.com

    I have seen these in the past (we had a set for some reason), and they are only a toy. The sound is about the same as a bad chanter, the drones are just for show, and they are surely not meant to be used as real pipes. However, the kids are going to love them and that was what counted for me. I ordered a set from kiltmart (best price I found) for this Christmas.

    Sweet thanks for the heads up they are for my 18 month old so the cheaper the better.

    The tourist shops here hae been selling them fer years, dinnae expect a authentic sound oot o' them. If they are fer the bairn ...Mmmm, they wull be guid fun.
