I've had that UK brown leather for three years now. It's never squeaked once. Quality goods. Think of the leather in a baseball mitt.
Just keeps getting softer and softer...or is it more pliable...whatever, its a dream. Never wrinkles even on long distance drives. Toasty and warm in foul weather including snow storms. Fun to slink around in during good weather.
Like a hand sewn wool kilt, expensive, but you get full value from the quality.

I always think leather is a bit to 'squeeky' though.
