Best wishes for a successful move and a quick sale of the old home. The new house looks a charmer, no wonder you both fell on love with it.

Wow. Nice little house! It reminds me of the town my mother grew up in, just outside of Yarmouth, NS. I'm jealous.

Al:
Since you are "a professional driver" I hope that you find employment at your new house right away. Only the best to you and Karen on your move, your sale and your new life.

Thanks again, everyone! This has been a very exciting ride for us. Karen and I are heading to the bank in a few minutes to sign the new mortgage. As of 16:15 today we will own two houses! Woohoo!!! D
Jobs won't be a problem out there, many places are starting to expand and there is a huge demand for workers. I'll most likely get a local trucking job of some form, although I plan to see what else is available. Karen and I both would like to find something in the Monday to Friday 9 to 5 type position. Working off-beat hours and days off really plays havoc with a social life.

Ghosts??
Pretty sure the whole house is plaster & lath. We actually like the green wallpaper, it's the pinkish stuff in the front foyer that has to go. LOL
