    Greetings.
I wish you and your buds the best of luck with the UM tartan. Blue definitely needs one.
Who knows maybe you'll start something and OSU will incorporate one too and we'll start to see loads of kilts at rival games.

Welcome indeed, and I wish you the best in trying to get a tartan designed and adopted by your university. I'm in a similar process, trying to get the City of New York to adopt a tartan designed as a gift to us by the weavers of Scotland.

I'd say that you have twice as much work as me, since you have to come up with a design. I would, but I can't believe that the adoption process here is not MORE than twice as hard as yours. Keep up the work!

I'd be interested in hearing about your experience in that monastery. PM me if you'd care to share.

    Welcome to the site!
Are you aware of the local bagpipe band? I'm a member. We're the Ann Arbor Pipes & Drums. I definitely agree about getting a tartan for big blue and I'll tell you now a few people have tried this to no avail in the past. Maybe it will be different if students organize it. If you need any support from the pipe band in some way, let me know. We've been trying to tie our band into the U for a while but like the tartan idea, they've basically ignored us up to this point.
