I was in the Army for three years... I have no medals... tho they offered me my good conduct if I re-enlisted...LOL

For Remembrance Day services our veterans have always worn their medal on blazers. By wearing them they remind us, the more fortunate who never had to go to war, of their sacrifices for us. They earned them.

If you served in the US Army for a full 3 years and served honorably, you should be entitled to wear the Good Conduct Medal. You are probably authorized to wear the Narional Defense Sevice Medal as well. Published orders are nomally required for the Good Conduct Medal, but not so with the National Defense Service Medal. In the latter's case, you must have served within specified period of times. I would contact your nearest Army Personnel Office or if necessary your congressman and ask for their assistance in the matter.
