Acknowledgements and Thanks

I hope everyone has enjoyed this little tale. It was inspired by the many spy movies I have seen over the years, and especially the recent Charlie’s Angels movies. The women of the Retrieval Team are all obviously fictional creations, as are the villainous Ivana Rulital and her company, Globo-Fashion. If they bear any resemblance to actual people or companies, it is purely coincidental.

The commercials were a flash of inspiration. I remembered how many old television programs used the characters from the program in their commercials, so I decided to do the same. The commercials also allowed me to do a small bit of character development outside the main story.

There will probably be more stories in the future. I already have some ideas floating around in my head, but they will have to be developed. You can be sure that the fashion tyrants will not rest.

A big thanks goes to Panache and his stories, which inspired me to attempt one of my own.

I would also like to thank the different cast members of this little tale.

I would offer a word of caution to you and your team the next time that you are in the Great Hall of X Marks the Scot . David's secret passages, elevators, and monrail go a great many places...some of them are...unpleasant... and seldom returned from. You were highly fortunate in getting to one of his labs and the hangar. Next time might prove otherwise...

By the by, wasn't anyone going to rescue Grant?

I suspect that Panache requires a nice rest somewhere quiet and secluded with good food - somewhere like The New Forest in England - it is very beautiful this time of year, and there are some fine old houses there.

One in particular might be just the thing - where Panache and the F-H.C.A.G could visit for a while, and Hamish could recuperate at the M.H.I.C.E before returning to West Sussex.
