    There was a thread about a belt, I think Lowes (if that is a hardware store) or Home Depot for just a couple of bucks.

    The nearest Home Depot is outside of both walking and biking distance (no car, no bus pass; I'm really quite limited in terms of travel).

    Belt plus another $8 shipping. Any army surplus stores or hardware stores near?
