Glengarry Bhoys disband
From their myspace blog;
GOODBYE BHOYS
October 26, 2007 From David Tamulevich of The Roots Agency (via The Ark in Ann Arbor, Michigan http://theark.org):
"It saddens me to have to bring the following news. Co-founder and leader of The Glengarry Bhoys, Graham Wright, has been struggling with serious medical problems for some time now. His condition has worsened, which has worn him down to the point where he can no longer tour. On advice of his physicians, he is retiring from the band, with plans to rest and focus on his health.
The Glengarry Bhoys would obviously find it difficult to continue without Graham's creative and management leadership, therefore, the group has decided to disband, effective immediately. I am sure you will all join with The Roots Agency in extending to Graham, as well as all the members of the Glengarry Bhoys, your warmest wishes and prayers for healing."

That is sad news, I sincerely hope Graham is able to look after his health.

It is unfortunate. Some good news though, that Ewen Brown has signed on to fill the role of piper in Hunting McLeod after the recent departure of HM's Al Buchanan.

So Sorry to hear, they are a freaking fantastic group and always put on a good show! I hope Graham well.
I think they were the first Celtic Rock group I ever heard.

Yes he has but i think this venture with McLeod will be something to see and if we all gang up and Ewan he'll play the Devil came down to Georgia on his pipes or other various tunes I know he can play, I was luck to have Ewan pipe at my wedding and am very proud to say his is one of my closet friends.
