Interesting, what about adding a white stripe in the blue field and pleating to that. Have the golden maize flash from the kilt swing.

No reds, greens, browns, or other colors are necessary...your initial design is very nice and is "pure" U of M! The thin white stripe could be Michigan's snow!

Oh right, if you are a student/faculty/alum at UM, sign (or if you know any, force them to sign) this petition!
