Dave, I really don't know what to say. Beau has been with me for nearly 13 years now, is diabetic and has stiff joints. (Insulin and glucosamine are doing wonders for him.)
I have no idea what I'm going to do when he er...crosses that bridge.
You have my deepest condolences.

My sincerest condolences, Dave.
For some reason I get more misty-eyed over the loss of someone's pet than I do with a person. Must be the curmudgeon in me, but then our two kitties mean the world to me and I'm not looking forward to their time to cross the bridge.

The line at the bridge grows longer
Dave
It saddens me to hear of your loss, the line at the end of the Rainbow Bridge has grown longer by one.

The loss of a pet is always hard. Even with a cat who is often standoffish it is unconditional love.
My prayers are with you.

Dave, my condolences. Lost a maine coon back in 1998. Took a while to get over it, since I had him for 12 years. About 3 years ago, another maine coon came into my life. Markings aren't identical, this one's bigger, and with a deeper voice, but the mannerisms are the same. I don't normally believe in reincarnation, but this cat is too much like my previous one...
