As for the wife, she was born in TN and raised in TX. She doesn't have any sisters that are available. She's pretty outspoken, tell it like it is, and keeps her word. The rules don't change for an engagement though they are known to change from engagement to engagement. Since this one is agreed upon it won't change.
The test was kilt only but hey, the more I actually attempt to stay under the agreed price, the easier things are down the road.
I had originally planned on going straight for the custom kilt but since the ultimatum I have changed my mind a bit.
My new pecking order:
SWK standard
USAK semi-traditional
a custom
After my first 3, since it's addicting, I'll start throwing in some UK styles, atleast a great kilt, more tartans and etc. in the mix as well.
Of course, my lists seem to change or evolve quite often anyway. The wife liked the suggested set-up with the SWK HW black shadow so it'll have to get on there somewhere too.

Up to $150 for the kilt (if accessories don't have to come out of it) could get you a Stillwater heavyweight wool!
