I'm going OT on this one instead of DIY...the book actually doesn't contain much that relates to making accessories that WE'D be interested in.

I was at the book store earlier and saw this book:

Great title...a book for guys who want to knit! Several projects that allow you to make those little stocking caps that the Cast Of Rent are likely to wear and a section on socks and knitting neckties...maybe there are a few things there that would qualify as projects that some of us would be interested in...

One of my pals, Drew, has a project published in this book, a sweater he designed a la the Muppet Ernie. He is an avid knitter, but I haven't talked to him yet about knitting me a pair of kilt hose...
