    Tennessee Burns Dinner

On February 2, the Highland Rim Scottish Society will hold its annual Burns Dinner. Tickets are $35 each. If there is enough of us to fill a table, 8-10, we might get a discount. Dress is casual to formal. This is a very relaxed and non-stuffy evening. There will also be a silent auction. Please see the link for a brochure.

I might be able to make it to that. I'll have to see what's going on around that time. But looks like fun.

I figured two months notice was fair. If the dinner is the same as last year, you had your choice between salmon or prime rib. And you'll need to choose that at the time of the ticket order. There will be at least a couple hundred people there. If you've never been to a Burns Dinner, this is a great one to make your first.

What, a Burns dinner with no haggis?

We're having our Burns night sometime around then, but I'm not sure of the exact date. I'll let everyone know when I find it, so they can come if they like.
