But, but....... That's cheating! None at all? Not even a little Nativity scene? No stockings hung by the fireplace? No candles in the window.......nothing?

Ok, ok...we ARE putting up a tree and setting out the Advent wreath. However, my wife's favorite hobbys is decorating the house for the holidays. Any holiday. If there isn't one, she'll make one up. 
The house is always decorated in some form or another. This move is driving her crazy.

Just let her go overboard next year in your quaint new house. You'll have now stress or worries (and a couple of new kilts) this time next year.
