Holiday Card Picture Choice
From the other posts seems to be the season.
Was backing up my gallery in Photobucket the last few days and decided to keep my eyes open for a holiday card shot.
Gonna use this one this year. Already ordered and they're in the mail headed to me.

I like it since it has a holiday winter scene and the tartan is Lord of the Isles which speaks to my family's roots on the Trotternish Peninsula of Skye.
Caption will be " 'Tis the Season to KEEP IT SIMPLE"... Since so many friends are also recovering drunks, a humerous reminder of how to survive the holiday parties.
The cards and stamps are getting expensive, but with scattered friends and kin its a good way to keep in touch. And I noticed a few female coworkers kept last years card up all year. Not sure why. But flattering and I'm happy to give them another one. And maybe the cards will encourage some cousins and nephews to try kilting.

I was thinking that was a nice photograph and then I thought, they're all nice. Hmmn, how is it that you and Hamish both have your own personal photographer?
At least you take yours out for walkies, Hamish doesn't let his out of the yard.

Looking good. Is that a dusting of snow in Arizona in the background?

Hey Chase,
Pic was taken on the Dolores River just a bit north of Dolores, Colorado on our way up to Ridgeway to soak the weekend away in the lithium hot springs at Ridgeway. www.orvishotsprings.com Snow was because its the San Juan Mountains...or at least the foothills. We did nearly get snowed in on the way out, major snowfall on the passes. Thank God for 4 wheel drive.
