    The eagle and flag in rhinestones would work Sooooo well in Washington DC where everyone seems to wear them to "support the troops" and other such platitudes. My suggestion would be to wear a kilt pin that you like or perhaps a pin with your state flag or state seal and motto. Wearing the american flag seems to have become an over-used symbol lately that has cheapened its meaning.

    Don't own an American heritage but I honor my Native American Heritage with various kilt pins. I enjoy mixing things up a bit. The silver feather is my favorite.

    Seem's more a problem of narrowing down from a vast assortment of fine choices than the opposite. For us Canadians it was relativily easy, just find a maple leaf.
