Michael--Man of God, I think--is a really good name, especially if you follow it with a strong, masculine name like Ebenezer (my great-grandfather's middle name), Everett (my father's name), or James (yours truly).

In the end, you'll do what your wife says, so it's best just to sit and listen to her. Especially if she's pregnant! If you have a favorite Celtic name (Hamish, Liam, Ian, Angus, etc.), they're all great, but you might want to work on Mom a little in advance to sell the deal.

My only real advice is to take very good care of Mom, tell her several times a day how great she looks, walk with her, and pamper her. Pregnant women always look good--and need to know it--and are a special gift: they're carrying your child.

God bless and good naming!
