All of the really cool stuff

Has anyone ever searched through all the posts to find all of the really cool, but out of the norm, accessories? Like really neat sporran/belt buckle combos etc, and then put the links to the vendors in one easy to find thread....like this one?

We should do that, but I think what should be attempted would be a comprehensive listing of kilt makers on both sides of the pond and else-where first.

We haven't been able to do that either, there may be some conflict with the unwritten rules?

I think it should be an annotated list with members comments about individual makers.

Maybe a vendors forum. Sticky each category such as Kilts, Accesories, jackets, misc. Web links to the vendors....maybe even go farthur one day and have our own personal accounts as far as how the buying experience was?
I know that opens up a can of worms sometimes, but being honest about a buying experience could really help each other out don't you think?
Not sure of those un-written rules, but I'm sure there is a board mod or two out there that are willing to chime in on this subject.
The only place I could see a problem could be with the site sponsor vendors. I'm sure there is a price that they pay to have that advertising link at the top of our pages, and they may be understandably upset if we post links to vendors who are basically recieving free advertising?

I like your enthusiasm, I really do, here is the Highland Games and Celtic Event Discussion A place to talk about up and coming Highland Games or Celtic Events part of the forum. There are also sections for all the advertising vendors on the board where you can post your experiences. The search function is your friend, try it out.

Thanks CavScout! I do find that interesting. I am also very glad to see that the kiltmaker that I had problems with here in Southern California is NOT listed. Which, in my mind, is a very good thing!
