    It's not official until it makes it into the next AR 670-1. When that happens, I'll order my "tank" from Alexis Malcolm with my next breath. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

    I really don't see it becoming general uniform wear any time soon. At most, it may be chosen for pipe bands.

    Since the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-1 is the Proponent Agency we just need to send a wave of recommendations and requests for exception to try and get it added/approved as a variant for formal dress. I wonder how well that would go over. Might end up having my MACOM Sergeant Major come over and having a talk with me. It's worth a shot though.
