No pun intended (and it actually took me a minute to figure out what you meant). On the other hand I thought hops were related to lupins (now where is that highwayman).

They are related to lupins, a mirror image molecule of the other. It would work the same if we had a matching receptor in our brians.

My friend needs 600 to 800 pounds of bailed hops or 400+ in pellet form if anyone knows of any reasonable suppliers. PM me if you have any connections.

Somehow I don't think I can grow that much in the back yard. However, I may get enough to dig my home brewing stuff out of the basement (haven't brewed in about 6 years, no time).

My friend is talking about 25 lbs per vine, with seven poles going. But I get first dibs! I'm sure she'll grow Crystal, and I want to make sure she gets Fuggles and Amerillo as well. I can certainly pass along your email if you'd like me to - just drop me a line via PM, along with varietal preferences.

    Andrew.
