As a MacDonald, you'll appreciate this story: Reportedly, at a clan gathering many years ago, some native Scots were complaining about all of the Yank, Canuck, Kiwi, Aussie, etc. MacDonalds wearing kilts. Lord MacDonald got wind of this & supposedly said:
"The blood is strong. Do you really expect 2000 miles and 200 years to kill it?"
If it's not true, it should be.
