My jacket took about 3-4 weeks. Give them a call and see what the status is.

    Thanks,

I was going to send them an email about this too. I ordered a jacket waist coat combo just about four weeks ago, so I assume it will get here in the next week or so.
I also ordered one of the Heritage tartan 5 yarders in PV; it came very quickly as it was off the rack. I will say that the workmanship is topnotch and the PV fabric is very nice although it is probably a bit too light for winter use.
I will second that they are quick to answer questions too.

I orderd a hand purled fly plaid for my daughter's wedding from Tartan Web. Unfortunately it came the day of the wedding and was of the wrong tartan. They guys at tartan web were very sorry and did get me the correct one very quickly. I was so impressed with the Fly Plaid that I did order a great kilt from them.

I've been admiring the Isle of Skye casual made from Jura woven fabric. It's a wonderful tartan and the price looks reasonable. Has any one purchased a Jura casual and care to review/comment?

    Again Dawg,

Jura is a term that the Marton Mills weaving co. calls their 16 oz. weight fabric.

Casual refers to the kilt manufacturing style. Usually a machine sewn kilt from a non-wool, lighter weight wool, or having slightly less than 8 yards of fabric.

Isle of Skye is the name of the Tartan. It is one of those that the members here have voted "Most beautiful". Do a search for pics of Barb Tewksburys Isle of Skye kilt pleated to no stripe that was made for one of our members.

I just received 16 yards of Marton Mills "Isle of Skye" in Jura weight here in the shop to make a kilt for myself. It is magnificent.

    I wear the kilt because:
    Swish + Swagger = Swoon.

I have a handsewn in the Jura range from tartanweb. While I prefer the Lochcarron wool, the Jura is really nice stuff. I like it quite a bit and would buy that brand again.

16 yards of a kilt for yourself.... You don't look like you are that big in your photos. Or are you contemplating 4 feet deep pleats......
