    Very natty! Well done.

It seems to me that wearing a matching tartan tie or bow tie with your kilt works a lot better when you have the dark of the waistcoat to put a little visual distance between them. I may have to give this a try.

I very much agree. Nothing adds class and taste to an event like a man in a kilt. Several times my wife has worn her sash while I was kilted, and then not all the attention is on me. She gets just as many questions and compliments.

The chap in teh business suit looks pretty bland compared to the vivid colours of the kilt and tie. Good looking set.

Two Christmas's ago I bought a nice long sash with a hand sewn rosette for my wife. She has never worn it, but she has also (for one reason or another) not been able to go to a "High" Scottish event with me.

This year we are headed to a Burns Supper, and I hope she wears it. But I must remember to dig it out and ensure I wear a matching kilt - or not?
