Heck yeah, it is the Feast of the Incarnation. I am about to don my festive purple cassock, and sally forth for the choral marathon. See you back here about 01:30...

Nighthawk, I'll bet given time we can come up with a jacket that suits you. Meanwhile, hug your folks and

    everyone, have a blessed season.

    NightHawk,

    I like fly plaids

    a lot

But heed Bob's words! Let my mistake be to your benefit.

Go with the tie and maybe a nice sweater if jackets aren't your thing.

Just don't ask why cowboy hats and boots don't go with a kilt...

    Cheers

No, that would be a thick ribbed turtleneck shirt.

I have on numerous occasions seen fly plaids worn without jackets, and I love the way they look. I went ahead and did it. I just got home about an hour ago, and I got tons of compliments, so thanks for the input, all. I didn't wear the tie.

Actually, I do indeed look great in a PC. I just don't own one- yet.

Glad you feel it worked but I don't think a fly plaid works without a jacket. Looks a little silly IMHO as it more suited to formal wear. Also the matching tie is a bit too much of one tartan.

I agree- I skipped the tie.

Jaime- Merry Christmas to you, as well.

I never wear a Jacket with Flyplaid, just a long sleeved black shirt.

    I always get great compliments.
