It is one of Lochcarron's stock tartans, yes. All my kilts are made-to-measure, so I, personally, don't have a stock of tartans. I order as needed from the mills. But Lochcarron does stock it in a 16 oz weight (in other words, it does not require custom weaving).

That's good to know. Also, I've been thinking about making a drawstring belted plaid for winter use, so it's good to know that weight fabric works for the plaid.
