    (drop the e... Dropkick Murphys)

    OI OI! Great Kilt!

And who said you can't mix tartans. I think that the Royal Stewart on the jacket mixes FINE with the MacKenzie Kilt.

I think he also needs a "Blood and Whiskey" patch.

I'll second that. Guess I was late on the post.

Sounds like a very nice punk kilt. By nice I mean what ever you are happy with. I don't even have any idea what it looks like.

That is the nicest punk kilt I've ever seen. I realise that sounds like a bit of a back handed compliment, and since in general I'm not a fan of the punk style I guess it is a little, but I am impressed. You wear it at the right height and length so good for you. As for the rest of the outfit...it's interesting. Not my style but if it makes you happy then it's great!

Looks great! The only thing missing is a badge of the fine Scottish band The Exploited! I wore my kilt often as a punk teenager in the 80s. I remember lots of my peers wearing Royal Stewart kilts and especially trousers. The girls in particular would buy kilted skirts and rip them to the desired length, leaving the bottom frayed.

I have a friend who's son in into punk. I've known him since for about 15 years. I will say that I've never understood his clothing choice, but, I will say that he has always done it with style and flair. This flair and style is present in this kilt. He has changes my image of punk.

Belsen does wear his outfit with flair and style. I don't think I could carry off the look but he does.

Belson for the old and uneducated what is the circular emblem on the sporran?

I'm not living in london anymore i split up with my girl friend who i was living with.......ill probably be back in the beginning of the summer tho.

cheers for all ur praise and for the people who didn't like the stile thanks for your respect

the logos on the sporran is a band called oi polloi they are a Scottish anarco-punk band who sing in Gaelic and the logo in the middle of the sporran if u look close is the anarchy symbol imbedded into the celtic symbol of life...... its a symbol of anarchy, equality and peace in the celtic punk scene.

aye i do like dropkicks but they aren't fast enough to earn a place on my kilt hehe. Theres a band called flatfoot 56 they are a skinhead band with a piper and mandolin player in its the best mix of celtic music with punk i have herd yet but they are a christian band and I'm an atheist so the lyrics are really meaningless to me so that a big shame

if any one has any pics of punk kilts can u post them? cuz i haven't seen meany

    thanks

    edit....

also ur friends son might of just got into punk and normaly when some 1 is new to punk they dont know much about it and they dont realy look good in the cloths they wear cuz they dont know the trick that u lern in time within the punk comunety.

as iv said before with nerly all things in punk it gets better with age
