I just reread your post. We are playing a 19th C ball tomorrow night in Manheim, PA. The affair is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Ren Faire. Ever do anything up there?

Not to worry guys, for if we keep doing what we do here, very soon more an more will feel comfortable about wearing thier kilts where ever an when ever they like.

My son asked me why i liked wearing kilts,an i told him i love the looks i get when i look back to see if they are looking back at me.
You ever notice that most of the time men will pretend not even notice, and a lot of women give you an approving nod and a smile?

Sorry -- I haven't been ignoring you, just been away from the computer for the weekend!

JayFilomena asked if it was a high-end restaurant, and yes, it was. I can imagine that would make a difference.

Amoskeag, I've never been up to the Pennsylvania renfest. I stick mostly to the Southeast.

Welcome Iain! I love the first outing stories -- especially when they're a non-event. My dad lives in West Palm Beach.
