Yes, I hope it all works out OK. No harm meant, just a statement of fact.
I am rather jaded tonight after dealing with some folks who are not nice to dogs.

Well, for the record, I would never, ever be one of those people. I am one of those people who believes that the lives of my cats are no less sacred than my own.

I think I understand Moosedog. Hope things are ok now, and it is sad. Wish you well.
And Nighthawk good luck on your life path.

Don't let Ted fool ya; He's been sacrificing that same old rubber chicken to Oya for years. (I suspect he's really a vegetarian who worships Audrey Hepburn).
I've always found the worst thing re Frugal Corner is their constant failure to keep one informed! Emails & voicemails are ignored, questions unanswered for weeks - if ever replied to at all. If there is a supply problem, just tell us and we'll know not to expect delivery next week.
Their products are great, and I've never been ripped off, and was thrilled when they began to get it together. I even posted as such.
So, if Mark & Mark can just simply check email & voicemail daily 9and answer all quries the same time) Then all should be well.

I know myself and I know my life path. I don't need to say anymore.
I am sorry I have taken this off topic. Laughs were had by a person who needed them and that's good.
I've removed my religious statements and wish all well under grace in a perfect way.

Night hawk..
if all you have read are bad stories about us then you must not have been selective reading the post here...
---
as i have said MANY time... we have always either delivered or refunded money... nobody will ever say (truthfully) we ripped them off....
whenever i see somebody write--"I was thinking about buying from them but....." it always reminds me of military discussions.... when you mention you were a Marine (and i served fro 12 years) people either say "I thought about joining" or "My dad/uncle/aunt was a Marine"... like that makes them part of the GUN CLUB...
We have a good selection of products, we have our inventory posted online (Since November), and we carry a wide variety of tartans... and the majority of folks...again most likely 98% get what they order within a few days
we have thought about carrying nothing but Black Watch kilts and maybe 2 kinds of sporrans... be very easy to stock and would never ever be slow shipping.... of course repeat customers would be few and far between
as I have also said many times.. there are some of you that will never buy from us.. there are some of you that have and will buy 9 kilts from us... thats business... some people believe it or not will not shop at walmart.
God Bless and have a great day
mark W
I think the countless bad reviews of your service speak for themselves. You can talk all you want about selective reading, and all it really amounts to is propping up your obviously lacking customer service. I myself will continue to give my business to people who respond to email and phone calls and who produce described products and services.
And what's with the military thing? I was in the military. So what? People who make the kind of comments that you are talking about are generally people who admire and revere service members, but did not (for whatever reason) take the dive themselves. I think your elitism is showing.

Great! You'll be a happy camper indeed.

I have place several orders with Frugal Corner and expect to place several more. Each of my orders were delivered in a timely manner. When my kilt from Kiltstore was delayed due to the manufacturer, FC was able to get me a Fly Plaid to match my PV Kilt in less than 5 days even with severe weather in the midwest.
For what they sell, FC cannot be beat for price and quality.

I have three 13-oz kilts and one 16-oz kilt from FC.
Positives:
I ordered based on their in-stock page and all four were delivered in about five business days.
I enjoy the kilts and think that they are a fair value for the price.
Email order acknowledgments have been prompt.
Negatives:
All four kilts size up not down as indicated on the FC site.
The 16-oz “Cochran” (Cochrane?) kilt that I received was not that tartan but rather Cameron of Erracht.
I’m keeping it because I like it. But if my name was Cochrane I think that I’d be somewhat miffed.
I’m retired now, but the veterans who were my former coworkers, and particularly the Marines, were always pretty much no-nonsense about fixing problems rather than making excuses.
And courteous of rank – the customer outranks the seller.
