Stillwater kilts is the best place to buy your first kilt, BAR NONE. It is also a great place to buy everyday use kilts. The biggest drawback to SWK is tartan choice. But service, price, and value have made me a repeat customer.
I must say that I am 4 kilts into this obsession and I am now thinking of progressing up to a USA Kilt. More tartans to choose from, better quality, but higher price. As everyone here says, though; the more you buy, the more and better quality you want.
Good luck, and happy kilting.
