It is so cold......how cold is it??

I'm a wimp. I can't stand anything below 40 degrees. It just hurts! But to live in a place where it's normally that friggin cold during the winter....that would be h-e-double hockey sticks for me. I'll stay where it doesn't drop below 30 thankyou very much and drink my non-frozen vodka.

I've been that cold before in the Canadian Rockies in February during a winter warfare exercise during an exchange with the Canadian Army. When its that cold, your hands hurt after a few seconds in that temp. Its no fun at all.

Well, it's topped 60 degrees here in Chicago today...it was in the twenties a couple of days ago. Of course, we're now under a tornado watch...but that's the weather for you.

It looks to be beautiful here in our Nation's Capital this week, predicting 70 tomorrow.

I don't understand it, we've always said DC has schizophrenic weather but Mother nature must have really taken her happy pills this week.

Apparently the last good snow we had out here was the year I was born... So it's about darn time we got some snow.

How/why are you familiar with Palmdale?
