2007
It has been a great kilted year....
Feeling free to wear the kilt in any situation ( not work yet , but most of my fellow employees know I wear the kilt )
1. Vacation to Vancouver
2. Flogging Molly concert at the Filmore with my son (he was kilted too)
a. getting my son his first kilt
3. Dropkick Murphy concert
4. Working the Courage Classic bicycle ride
5. Working the Midnight Classic bicycle ride
6. Denver Kilt night out ( very nice night and met some of the local kilties)
7. to the store and around the house - shoveling snow is great in a kilt
Looking forward to being kilted more often in 2008 and keeping up with the X Marks group.

Receiving my Newsome box pleat back in February was definitely a nice start. I also got to meet some Xmarkers this year in Houston. Lots of good comments thoughout the year. In July I got a steal on my first "tank" (Morrison red 8 yarder from... former piper's kilt.)

I met some of the local X Markers, and that was nice. Probably the most notable was getting the Dove tartan designed and registered.
Hmmm, I actually did not get any new kilts in '07. I guess I'm going to have to fix that.

Obviously joining XMARKS! But more importantly, my wife had hip replacement surgery in November, so by spring this year, we hope to do a little day hiking, learn to golf, anything that we've never been able to do before because of her limitations.

For me the highlight of the year was coming back to live and work in Scotland after a decade away - and meeting up with Pour1Malt and the rabble at Ferintosh in Dumfries.
A happy new year to you all!

The highlight for me was the Rabble all banding together to help me finally master Photobucket so I could post my kilted pics. It took me three days! Thanks guys, you're the best!
