They look like they feel good to wear. Who says that about socks?
Wonderful. The outfit is great.

Congrats Glen, Though for me I couldn't see myself in a pair. That being said you should top it off with an Isle of Skye Dreadbelly tam.

The hose are impressive! But, I'm thinking about the tie, too. For formal wear, I haven't been able yet to give up the black bow tie - I still think of the rat-pack guys in theirs, but I need to change with the times or become a relic. Where'd you get the tie, man?

Jack I got it at my Hector Russell, and have since picked up another, I am not sure if I will wear it or the black bow tie for Burns Night, I put it on for these photos as it was during the day and I wanted to bring down the level of formality as it was before 6:00pm.

You callin' me a relic?
I'm just not a fan of the long ties for evening wear but I think if you really want to wear one they are a bit easier to take if you get a five button waistcoat with the PC.

Oh, that's not one of those silk formal long ties, like I thought.. Lately, I've noticed that the old black bow tie has been getting replaced more and more by long shiny silk ties in black, white or other colors. My nephew wore such at his wedding with his tux.
