What you need.
In the way of sporrans, plain brown for day wear, plain black for after 5 PM, fur for formal wear.

Kris, in Ted's defense, I'll just point out that there are several threads in which the experienced married men on here ALL advise a bridegroom to yes the wife to death for a happy marriage. I think that his advice was along this line.
I can understand how the fashionista cravings can feel girly have you started to adjust?

Oh ok, DireStraitsFan, I totally misunderstood what you wer saying. I thought you were saying that it looks girly to not wear a sporran. I'm sorry. I don't think it's girly to need different sporrans and all. I was just kidding about not argueing with your girlfriend, I should have put a "LOL" after that. However, a lot of times women tend to have a better fashon sense then men, so I would go with things like color paring and things like that when asking her if things look alright. I didn't intend much more than a joke on all of this. LOL!
I think you had finnished the work on the sporran, I hope it comes out ok. If you're still working on it, good luck.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

I have a black rabbit dress sporran. It just was not right so I got a white rabbit skin
from ebay $5. Now I have a Black sporran/ white tassels white fur under cantel.
I think it looks 100% better for $5.

I figgered that I would split the difference and got the grey bunny sporran...I figgered that grey was neutral enough to go with almost anything.
Best

At the local Highland games here in Salinas, Ca, there is a vendor who sells real rabbit pelts. I think that they are only about 10 or 15 bucks each and are probably enough to cover two swk sporrans. I am thinking of doing the exact same thing but maybe with badger if I can find someone who sells it cheap enough.
